MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission and goal is to be of service -to provide what is needed ! And to have fun while we are
doing it ! The need is there to have training brought to the systems. Our goal is to grow as the
need continues to increase for new technology in the field of Water and Wastewater treatment.
We are a business that cares about ' you ' as a water or wastewater operator professional and we
deeply care about our environment. We want to share our mission and company goals and a little bit
of who we are-- We are firm believers in Education ! We believe that we all will be learners all our
lives.
THE COMPANY'S STORY
Consulting Services of Alabama has been in business just over 15 years. Our clients consist of
Municipal Utilities, Private Companies, Industry, and Engineering firms. We do special topic
research for Water and Wastewater Clients. We provide on-site troubleshooting services. Most
importantly we provide on-site Training for operators to obtain their Certification License in Water &
Wastewater . Continuing Education hours are earned hour for hour --time-- spent in class or
otherwise when outside 'special assignments' are made with approval. Training with our Company
has been approved by the Alabama Department of Environmental Management . In the beginning
years we helped develop Alabama State training materials used for Operator Certification . The state
manuals were used in at least 3 other states. Now the manuals continue to be used as excellent
reference materials.
In October of 2001 the State of Alabama contracted with the Association Boards of Certification to
provide the Testing Instrument for the State. Now 40 of the 50 United States and 11 provinces use
the Sacramento Water & Wastewater Series for certification. As of June 2006 the state of Alabama
started using CBT (computer based testing) provided by AMP (Applied Measurement Professionals).
This has opened a much bigger window for operators in Alabama to obtain their license. The ' TEST '
is available Monday through Friday twice a day in at least 4 to 5 locations over the state. Additional

We are educators, trainers, tutors, researchers, consultants, troubleshooters, developers of new
ideas to help solve problems in our professional field
We are a 'cooperative company' that works with other private training companies and private non
profit organizations who provide training. We believe in working together to make our field of choice
the best it can be right now
